The recent data is what is taking up space. so you need to go and remove some of the saved addresses that you no longer need.

If you have music and pictures saved as well then these will need to be deleted to increase the extended memory. The units only have 64Mb of memory to swap between RAM and card. so empty off some of the other things you have other than maps to increease space for Msap data.....

if you dont have saved data, then somewhere there is a corruption . in the mapping software I might suggest here that a GPS shop wherever you are touring should be able to help faster than through this forum .

Does yours have a memory card slot on the right side? if so u can upgrade that memory card and transfer the info from the old to the new by putting the info on a computer with a card reader then putting the info from the computer to the new bigger memory card. i would get like more than double the current memory. cards are fairly cheap these days.

I constantly get phone storage space is low. I've added a SD card, it says there is 1.02GB available. I've deleted stuff and everything.

Your cell has TWO memory locations. One is the removable memory card and the other is the internal, permanent type. The messages you are seeing are about the internal memory. You should make sure / move all your pictures, videos, music & downloaded files are on the removable card - NOT the internal memory. You will find some applications are perfectly happy on the removable card - and some are not. If you need more room - try moving as many apps as you can to the removable card. Once you've done this - you should be in good shape!

Why! when i take a picture with my Olumpus sp-600uz camera and try to see picture it comes up with a picture error message

I had a similar problem. I had to clear all of the pics from the storage memory. All is good now. You need to move the pics to a folder and then delete them from the storage memory, not just delete the pics. There are still pics stored on the internal memory. If you need more info, I can tell you how to get rid of them.

Lg optimus logic low system memory

Only some apps can be moved to the card. Here's how to check and move the ones that can along with some other tips for freeing up space in internal storage:

1.Go to the Home screen. Press Menu and tap Settings , then Applications, then All

2. Tap each app and tap "Clear Cache". Tap "Move to SD Card" if it's not grayed out.

3. If there are any apps that you've downloaded and don't use uninstall them. The phone won't let you uninstall system apps that are essential to the phone's operation. If you aren't sure if you need an app or not install ES File Manager (which can be moved to the card) and use it to back up the app to the memory card before deleting.

4. Open Messaging, if you have any picture messages, tap on the bubble containing the picture. Tap Save attachment. After the picture has been saved, tap on the bubble again and tap Delete message. Also delete any text messages you don't need.

5. If you use Gmail, open Gmail, tap Menu, then tap Go to labels, then Trash and delete everything in Trash. If you use a different email app delete everything in its trash folder.

6. Launch the Camera, press the Menu button, tap settings and make sure that "Storage Location" is set to "SD Card".

My black jack 2 continues to give me a low storage message

the message means about your internal storage capacity which will be in terms of only MB's!!!!!
change the default settings to store all your contacts, text messages, pictures and videos to your memory card and also move any files from the internal memory to memory card..this will free up the space!!

Trying to move photos from internal storage to computer

Do you use your phone to browse the internet? if so, go to internet explorer -> options -> memory. and let it delete all temporary internet files. That should free a lot of internal storage. Turning your phone off and on again can also help to delete temporary files to make room in your storage memory.

Memory low n70

You need to change default storage device on your phone, from phone memry to card memory. In other words, move all data (messages, songs, videos etc) from your phone memory to card memory.
for example, go to messages>options>other>momory in use - change it to memory card instead of phone. (if your memory card is not named, it will be displayed as NO NAME).
Do the same with other data also.
