Demagnetize computer monitor

Just got a new computer monitor and notice up in the right hand corner the color is different. The top explorer bar runs from blue to purple. I think it needs to be demagnetized. It's an HP mx705 monitor. Thanks

Black bar 50pz800u

Where do you notice this bar? At the right side of the screen? Bottom of the screen? Top of the screen? Is it in white or black in color? Visit the site named 'Electro-help' for more details. Check this link and select the site named above. View it in 'Flip card' option, which can be selected from the drop down box menu by the [Sidebar] tag, at the top left corner of the display window. It will make search easy. Some times, the ads attached with each posts, both at the right and bottom, might help you to find the availability of spare parts. There are more than 750 posts to different brand TVs now.

My laptop will not connect to the internet when i click on the internet explorer icon the little circle spins round for a bit then nothing happens.I've noticed asymbol in the bottom right hand corner...

it might be possible that there is a virus in your computer which is causing this...if ie is not responding create a new user profile...go to control panel click on user profile...create a user profile by going into manage another account.(give the admin rights to new profile)
once the new account is created..log off from this account and then login to the new account check there if its working there or not

When i mouse over the top left of the screen.. about a line of pixels go into a crazy assortment of colors in a line at the top of the screen. It only does it in the top left corner... I just opened...

try to adjust your computer's display setting, sometimes improper display settings causes that.
Another area to look is to see if you have any "Hot Keys" setup for that corner. Sometimes those corners are setup as shortcut key for doing something. You might have it set without actually knowing.

PC Display after booting

Okay this is a flaw with XP. what you need to to is when that happens. Wait for the screen to load and press Ctrl+Alt+Delete and that will bring up task manager. Under the file button on the top right hand corner and select New Task (Run...). Then the run box opens up and type in the box EXPLORER.EXE that should show the task bar and shortcut icons. If you need any more help just ask me.

Green blur bot-R and up-L corner and no audio

If a standard TV has color splotches in 1 or 2 corners of the screen, it is possible that a large magnet, such as a large speaker, is or was near the set and has magnetized the picture tube. The set has a built-in degaussing coil but it is small and will only demagnetize small magnetic fields. Make sure there are no magnets near the set and if the colors are still off, have the picture tube demagnetized with a strong portable demagnetizer. As for the audio, when there are audio output jacks on the back of the set then there is usually an option to turn the speakers off. Some sets have a switch somewhere and some sets have a setting in the audio page of the on-screen menu. Look for a switch or go into the menu, navigate to the audio page and look for a speaker setting (ON / OFF) and make sure the speakers are set to ON.
