I had this problem, and checked the connections, emptied the resivour, and refilled it, and it had no effect.
To fix the problem, I ran the regular shower on hot for 10 minutes to warm up the shower chamber. Then, when I pressed the power button on the steam shower, it displayed "110" as normal.
The problem with "Prr" appears to be that the temp sensor is reporting a value out of range. Heating the shower chamber (and therefore sensor) provides a good value to the sensor, which then allows the shower to operate.
Try warming up your sensor by running the shower.

Mr Steam MS Super-1 kW: 10 doesn't generate steam

the first thing the generator should do when you hit the on button is fill. You will hear the water entering the tank. Once the water stops it indicates that the water has reached the water satisfied level, after which you should hear a loud click(your contactor engaging for the heat cycle, newer units will have all three light on the side lit). After this point is you aren't getting any steam after 5 minutes it probably means your heating element may be damaged. It would be best to remove the element at this point from the left side of the unit via 6 bolts and 2 wire leads. Any physical damage on the element such as a pinhole pop, burn mark, melting, or scar will surely prevent the element from heating

We just moved into a house with a MS150 Mr steam. I turn it on and the display reads 110 for 10 mins then comes up with H2O on the display. What do I have to do? Nothing seems to happen.

Hi my name is Mike with Mr. Steam please give me a call at 1-800-767-8326 and ask for tech support. We will need you model # and SN # that is listed on your unit if you can be by your unit when you call and we will help troubleshoot your unit. In the mean time check the following 1) water is on 2) drain valve closed even if you have a auto flush close manuel valve for testing

What does "prr" mean when displayed on the LED readout of the Mr. Steam control panel?

Hi my name is Mike I am with Mr. Steam Product Support. PRR is a code that shows up on our Steam Bath controls it was not used on our Sauna's. The PRR means there is a problem with the temp sensor on the control.please call me at 800-767-8326

Steam shuts down after approx.15 minute

I would venture a guess that the heating element has become intermittent with a short. Wasn't so bad before, but played heck with controller due to noise from arcing, but now have a dead short when heater reaches temperature.
