Cant see desktop icons or access Windows anymore. Brand new Nc10.

Well, to narrow down the problem, let's try making sure your graphics drivers are current to what the manufacturer recommends. You can find the support page for your model here:

Just click "Drivers" next to where "Manuals" is currently selected. You can also try updating your Chipset driver as well, just to be thorough. If you are running Windows 7, be sure to pick the Windows 7 version of the drivers. Download them and run the self-extracting utility and then setup.exe.

Hit F8 repeatedly on powering up,

Start windows in 'Safe Mode'

Run System restore after that.....

Run Antivirus software

Start Windows in Normal Mode (Reatart after antivirus then let windows start up normally, or select the 'normal' option,

There is a program (should be on your Samsung NC10 under Samsung) it is called 'Play Camera' If you cannot find it, go to this URL (double click it or Copy and Paste into the address bar of your Browser.

It is in Downloads - Software... Look for the name Play Camera, then look right for the Zip download file (its size is 13.2 Mb) Click that and save it to your desktop or My Documents Downloads. It tool me 2 mins at 600kbps download speed...
Unzip the file and run Setup.exe... This will install the program - unfortunately it didn't put an icon on MY desktop - but I went to C; drive, Program Files, Samsung (I found ALL the Samsung programs in there!) located Play Camera then 'Made a Shortcut' on the Desktop.
Click on the Icon to see yourself in the Webcam..

If not then driver is probably corrupt or missing.

Download from manufacturers site / install / test.

Reinstall windows mate is faster :)
You have a virus and is far more faster to reinstall windows in your case.

go to control panel then open printers or other hardware then hola you can see your bluetooth icon and check the show the blluetooth icon in the notification area or if you'd check the two boxes on the option tab and connection area then try to connect thru bluetooth device so you'll see the bluetooth icon on the taskbar.

take it back and replace it it should still be under warrantie

Go to Control Panel - Text Services & Language - Languages - Details - click on keyboard icon - then on ADD icon - add United Kingdom and make that the main keyboard. This should fix the problem with the problem with @ and " keys as well you should be able to use the £ key normally.
