If you remove the plug(s) so that the oil all drains back down, and some will drain back out of the muffler, it should start. But give a at least one day, maybe two. You may still have to put new plug(s) in it after it's gone. Check the fuel filter and see if you can see oil in it.
Take off the air cleaner when you get ready to start it and spray just a little starting fluid in the carb, Don't choke it. It will run rough and smoke like crazy, but after it runs a while it should be fine. It make take a few starts before it continues to run. At first it may run just on the starting fluid, but once the plugs fire up enough to burn the oil out it should run on its own.
Be sure and check the oil and if it seems like the slightest amount of gas in it, change the oil and filter.
Let us know how it comes out!

Unfortunately, but I'm not 100% sure on your model, it is a sealed transmission. I have had the same problem on an lgt2654 husqvarna and the service center just ordered a new transmission to replace the faulty one. Fortunately it is warranted for two years and I'm covered. Curiously though the service center suggested that this unit, even though advertised as a garden tractor with all kinds of pictures of attachements, is not meant for moderate to heavy usage. i.e. pulling a lawn sweeper or yard cart full of dirt. I most definetely will re think my next purchase! Good Luck

The motor has a governor that controls its speed, and if one of the pivoting parts or linkages is sticking this would happen. Look for the throttle linkage on the engine carburetor (move your throttle up and down, watch what moves). The governor will be a second linkage attached to the throttle arm. Squirt some WD-40 on any rotating parts and make sure a foreign object isn't stuck in there. It could also be the part of the governor that's internal to the engine -- harder to get at, but not expensive to fix.

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly.
Your model has this Transaxle.

I suspect that the gears item 14 are worn. Possibly the larger gear item 15 also.
You have little alternative but to remove the transmission and then the top of the transmission to inspect the gearing. Due to the number of gears in this transmission... the symptom that you have can be an accumulative problem from wear on multiple gears. Items 14 and 15 are the main causes.

Make sure to check the short internal drive chain for slack and wear. This too can cause jerky operation.
Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly
