Hello there, My samsung ES60 digital camera will not connect to my laptop, could you try and explain why this may be

SOME CAMERAS NEED TO HAVE THE RIGHT USB ADAPTER TO INSTALL YOUR PICTURES. YOU CAN BUY THE UNIVERSAL ADAPTERS PRETTY CHEAP AT ANY CVS, WALGREENS, WALMART ETC,.

I WOULD SUGGEST SAVING ALL YOUR PICTURES TO YOUR MEMORY CARD THEN TAKING YOUR MEMORY CARD OUT OF YOUR CAMERA AND SLIP IT INTO YOUR CARD READER SLOT ON YOUR COMPUTER...THE COMPUTER WILL ASK YOU WHERE YOU WHERE YOU WOULD LIKE TO SAVE YOUR PIC'S, THEN PICK WHAT FILE YOU WICH.

ANOTHER OPTION WOULD BE SAVE YOU PIC'S ON YOUR MEMORY CARD AND TAKE IT TO CVS AND SAVE ON A DISK, THEN INSTALL YOUR DISK INTO YOUR COMPUTER AND SAVE YOUR PIC'S THAT WAY. CVS HAS SPECIALS WEEKLY ON PICTURE'S IDEA'S AND IT IS A COST VERY LOW COST SAVING WAY OF SAVING YOU VALUABLE PIC'S , PLUS YOU CAN ADD MUSIC IF YOU WISH TO YOUR PIC'S SAVED ON A DISK. THE DISK IS PROVIDED BY CVS.

YOU JUST NEED TO MAKE SURE YOU SAVE YOUR PIC'S ON YOUR MEMORY CARD FIRST!

HOPE THIS HELPS,

MARTIE

When i take a pic with the card in it it does not save on the card.

Maybe card is write protected? Try to connect card to computer and save some files in it. If this goes well then there is something wrong with camera.

Camedia e-10 camera. Pics use to save on memory card but now will only save on the camera, why?

Check your settings in the cameras menu. You should have the option to store pics in internal (camera) memory or internal and removeable memory.

Power Shot A630 says card locked, will not take or delete pics

There is a switch on the side of the SD card, slide to unlock position then go to the SETUP menu, format the card (before doing that, make sure you have saved all pictures from the SD card to your computer)

Chip says full after few pics

The chip may not be inserted correctly. You can tell by seeing or not seeing SD symbol in the view screen. Try removing the SD card. Go through the memory and see if the pictures were saved to the camera or to the card. If the pictures were saved to the camera, turn off the camera and re-insert the card. See if the cards responds by showing more pictures available for taking and move the pictures to the card. If the pictures were saved to the card, then the card may need to replaced.

Unable to view pics

Copy the existing photos on to your PC, switch off the camera. Remove the SD card and format the SD-card using a SD-card reader, this will clear all the card contents. Now try using it in your Camera again. Ideally, you should be able to save photos on this SD card. Other way would be to insert another SD card into your camera and click photos and check whether those photos are being saved into the SD card(this can be done using display option in your digicam.)

Digital camera won't download all pics to pc

I dont have a permanent fix for this but you can recover those precious pics.. When you can open it in photoshop just use file save as option to save them onto the computer.. Also when you are done with transferring all these pics then format the memory card(normal format not quick) then take some sample pcis and see if it skips again.. Postback so that we can followup on this..
