VONNY MY MOTOR DOES THE SAME THING AND I FOUND THAT THE DUST OF THE MAGNETS IN THE HEAD WAS CAUSING THE MOTOR TO STICK I CLEANED INSIDE WITH ELECTRICAL CLEANER AND IT STARTED TO WORK FINE BUT YOU MAY HAVE SOMETHING ELSE GOING ON AND ALSO MAY SURE YOU ARE NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY IF YOU JUST GOT THE BOAT

I have a trolling motor and can't seem to get it to come on. I seen it work when I got the boat. But now it won't come on.

How does the prop rotate? Is it hard to turn? Have you checked behind the prop for fishing line? Are you getting 24 volts to the motor?
