Phillips CD235 Hello, Can anybody HELP!!!! my phillips CD235 is aking for a accont number and pin to be added before i can make a outgoing call

    I am having problems trying to connect the cd235 handset!

    It is fully charged and plugged into the phone line and i still cant dial out or recieve calls? There is no dial tone and the displaty just says searching?

    Can anybody help please?

0000 this is the default pin number

Phillips CD 235 cordless phone

Can't get dial tone. Screen displays "Phillips, linked to base symbol, battery fully charded symbol and time (incorrect)."
Trying to activate the phone for the first time produces no dial tone and "EMPTY" on the screen.

Help please.

Please check your outgoing server's settings in Outlook:
It should be "smtp.mail.yahoo.com"
Check the box "the server requires authentication"
Under "Outgoing mail Server (SMTP)", check the box next to "This server requires a secure connection (SSL). Enter port number "465" in the "Outgoing mail (SMTP)" field.

If you try to connect their pc to the wireless you should be prompted to enter the pin number. enter it into their pc also, and it should work. If this doesn't help, please provide more details and I can help more.

How do i setup an emails
Are you looking for client based email account?
You need to have POP and SMTP server information from the mail provider and mail server password.

i:e - pop.yourmail.com or xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx( incoming mail server)
smtp.yourmail. com or xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (outgoing mail server)

Once you have them go to the mail client that you want to use and go to setup and follow the instructions. Hope this would help you..

Do you have a limit of recordings on yout phone? If so, Try deleting some messages. Or try calling the phillps freephone help line. Try going to the phillips website and calling the free line
