The overlap of the "top blade" in relation to the "bottom blade" is set too close. The top blade has to be back a little bit to prevent this from happening. When changing blades this may have got set wrong. Loosen the two screws holding the bottom blade on and you can move the bottom blade in relation to the top blade to fix this.

I have a Wahl Designer clipper. I removed the middle screw to oil and clean the clipper and I can't get the 2 blades to fit back together again. How do they fit together? Thanks, M

The moving cutting edge keeps going diagonal to the bottom cutting guide- to the point where it overlaps and chews into skin! how do i fix this?

How do you change blades on Wahl's clippers? Have new blades dont know how to replace them.

No problem look at your clipper blade, you will see 3 screws remove the screw in the middle ONLY, The clipper blade will come off, replace with new blade put back the middle screw on and tighten.

Wahl clippers stop cutting. i spray wahl lubricant on blades then they work fine for a minute or two before stopping again. repeat process to continue using. what to do?

Wahl Razor will not realign after removing blades for cleaning!

This is always a problem with clippers, it's just a matter of holding the blades tightly in place and getting the screws in as tightly as possible without letting the blades go. This has always worked for me in the past.

Have you been oiling the blades? If you ran out of oil you can use any light machine oil available at any hardware store. If you feel comfortable opening the unit you will be able to see the electromagnet inside and watch what is going on. If all else fails Buy a new set (the exact kind) and keep the receipt. Swap them out and return it from the store where you purchased it. You paid good money for them and they should not have died so quickly. The store will get full credit for it when they return it to the manufacturer so it is not that morally bad. The manufacturer should bare the burden because of the poor quality control that allowed your clipper to die in such a short period of time. Hope you find this solution helpful and the last option is a surefire fix...

Contact a scisor sharpener in your area. They usually do clipper blades as well ..
