I am looking for a free manual for the Eumig Mark 8 Projector. I have an old projector and want to show film of my late mother. Film is original 8mm film 'not' super 8mm. Unfortunately I do not know how to use the Projector. Thanks for any help received.

I assume you haven't put a reel of film onto the projector and looped it through to the back spool. The front spool usually 'freewheels' whilst the film is pulled through the projector and taken up by the motor driven rear spool.
It is possible that the friction drive and/or drive belt have deteriorated with age, as the mentioned projector is a rather elderly 'classic' of the dual 8mm series.
If in doubt, don't risk your family pictures. Try the unit with an old piece of film on small spools.

Try a radio shack they carry a lot of power cords and for projectors

I think the Eumg 610D was a dual guage projector, capable of showing both Standard 8 and Super 8 films. (I'm basing my comments on the S810D I have in front of me, its sound "big brother").

To move between formats, there were two cogs internally that had to be changed, a film gate (two parts), and two adaptors/liners inserted into the centre of the film reels that transformed the centre from "a fat one" to "a thin one".

If the take up driver cog is rotating, but the reel is not, check whether the adaptor is in place.

If the rear driver cog is not rotating, then it might be a worn/defective drive belt, in which case leave a further comment and we'll explore that.

I have a Eumig 824 Sonomatic that needs repair to the claw mechanism, new rotary switch control knob and front sprocket for Super8 mm. Can this repair be effected by you.

this is a super 8 sound projector, not regular 8mm.
