I have a Cambridge Soundworks BassCube10 that had a terminal case of crispy components. I'd love to get a schematic, but I'm guessing that's impossible. However, if anyone could at least tell me the value of R48 it would really help out a lot. It got so hot that nothing at all is legible.
Thanks.

It's possible they've died, have you checked that your sound card and drivers are working by using another set of speakers or headphones.
SOURCE: Fluctuation in sound output on Cambridge Soundworks 5.1 speakers
Hi Paulus
A lot brand of speakers, like Sound Blasters, Logitech, Cambridge, has this (strange) kind of volume problem, sometimes, is the resistor, in the volume control, sometimes in the modulator for the board on the sound speakers, Subwofer.
I use a general tip is let the volume in one setting and don't move in the intermediate low volume say....9 .
from other thing, be change the speakers.

Have same problem. Cheap company, no POC phone number in handbook, no address.

I can't find a manual for this but my guess would be there is a setting for the Display to dim it at all times unless you touch a control.
SOURCE: A source for Cambridge Soundworks service manuals
Hi dkbjustwe3,
I've searched the internet and a lot of people are looking for the service manual. Even the paying sites don't have them. Apparently, you have to contact Cambridge Soundworks to get one. Here is their website: http://store.cambridgesoundworks.com/content/hookup_csw_manuals.htm
Copy and paste this address into your browser's address bar. They have an email contact spot on the page.
Hope this helps. Thanks,
Handie Andie
