I have an Electrolux epic 6500 sr that I need an internal part on the power nozzle. I was told it was called the elbow. The power nozzles power cuts off on the beater every time I pull back on it while vacuuming. I took the entire head apart and JB Welded it together but it broke in a couple of weeks. It is cracked around 75% of the circumfernence so the power to the head cuts off because the electric slip rings no longer make contact. I cannot seem to find this part on the web. Anyone know someone I can call to discuswhere I can get this part. I have seen one on the internet but it does not look like the elbow on the model I have.
You need to look under AERUS Electrolux to find a Dealer with parts.
Electrolux USA sold the brand name back to AB Electrolux of Sweden a few years ago and there is no relation between the two.
You may also find a common component of a different color at a Tri Star dealer as they shared some power head and hose technology in the era of the EPIC although they don`t tell people that
