that is the correct spark plug for the unit. i work at a power equipment store where we work on homelites. 90% of the time it wont start or run right is usually carb issues . need to get it rebuild or replaced
Hello, Hopefully the exploded parts list can help you out... I've done the reassemble of a trimmer handle once and explaining it can get dicey. The only suggestion that helped me was to have scotch tape handy to act as a third hand when holding small items between two other parts. You don't actually wrap the item, just place it on a small piece of tape - when the item is in position the tape removes easily. Your diagram link is the top one. Good Luck!
