I have a KUD101FL533 Kitchenaid dishwasher. The other buttons light up and the cancel button works, but when I hit "start" nothing happens. From what I have read, it may be the control panel. Do...

Hello, Christi,
What i would try first is see if perhaps the ribbon cable has come loose from the control panel the touch pad is separate from the control board and its entirely possible that its bad and not the control panel. Also i would surly want to check to door switch as well since they are more common problem than either the touch pad or control board ..to me its sounds like possibly the door switch is the problem since it thinks the door is open and wont allow it to start since the door switch thinks its open .
Please respond if you should need further assistance.

Starts on own F2 appears

Hi,

Unplug the oven for few minutes, say 30 minutes and then turn it on.If the problem persists, you need to replace keypad. This is a quite easy repair. You would take the grill off along the top over the door. Once off you should see the screws holding the control panel in place. Remove these screws and remove the control panel. You will now have access to replace the part. Please be aware that the unit stores lethal voltage even when unplugged.

F2 means the touch pad has failed, the manufacturer recommends you replace the touch pad and if this fails to clear the problem replace the control board. The manufacturer recommends this but the problem normally relates to the touch pad. The control board sits just behind the touch pad so is accessible by removing the control panel.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

Dishwasher will not run. key pad light sensors are on but it will not run. nothing is obstructing the operation and the door is closing and latching. fine.

could be a few things the touch pad display has a ribbon cable that connects to the pcb or control assemble...the touch pad could be bad /// the pcb(main control) has a fuse in it and they often go bad this reuires taken the cosole apart and removing the screws on the inner door to get it off. if the fuse is not bad you have either a bad pcb or touch pad... before doing all this kill power to unit at breaker for at least thirty seconds and then reset...hope this helps

I put oven on self clean. Cycle finished and now no power on touch pad and cannot open oven door. Replaced touch pad three months ago.

Hi,
This time the problem is not the touch pad...
The self cleaning feature gets things extremely hot and has either burnt up the wiring to the touch pad or has caused the power supply on the main circuit baord to fail...to find out for sure which problem it is the power supply will need to be checked and then the appropriate part changed...

My kitchenaid keri203 is showing E0 in orange and F2 in blue on my oven display

F2-E0 - Shorted Touch Pad (Keypad) - Check the connection between the touch pad (keypad) and control board (clock) to make sure it is secure.
Select the 'cancel' function and wait 60 seconds.
If error code reappears then replace the touch pad, or touch pad and control board (clock) if all one assembly.

When I open the door to the microwave there is no light. The key pad still works until I hit start and then the pad says "door". I can not get it to turn on. Any suggestions.

Hi,
It sounds like the door interlock is broken.
Have a look for any hooks or latches that may have snapped.
If the door interlock is faulty - do not use this microwave untill a replacement is ordered and fitted.

Kitchenaid Superba Gas Oven Touch Pad not working

We have a gas kitchenaid KGST307HBL9 and the touch pad is blank, but we discovered that you can still touch the buttons and it will work. (example touch bake; temperature; start). It will beep when the target temperature is reached.

Just so we don't forget and leave the oven on, we turn the oven light on as our signal. A little work, but not wanting to "fork" out the money at this time to repair.

Also, if you are handy RepairClinic.com has many items and can also answer question. We've used them for several of our appliance repairs.
