SOURCE: how do I attach the turntable belt to the Aiwa px e850

Lift the platter off the turntable. You can identify the motor spindle by using your fingers to turn the round shaft which rotates freely. Remove the rubber mat off the platter. Place the belt around the outside of the drum on the bottom of the platter. From the top of the platter, place your finger in one of the platter holes and tension the belt so it will not fall off or twist. Griping the platter trough the holes while keeping tension on the belt place the platter on the turntable aligning your finger with the belt to the motor spindle. Place the section of the belt on your finger over the motor spindle. Replace the rubber mat on the platter.

My Aiwa px e860 record player arm is too heavy how do I adjust it?

If you put the maker and model number into Google you will find a service manual free for the make. That should help you sort out the problem. It's just a question of getting the weight at the other end of the arm adjusted right.

If motor on aiwa px e850 turntable only turns intermittantly, has the motor worn out?

It might have. But the thing to do is to spray the bearings or the motor with Servisol Cleaning fluid. It could be just muck that's got inside it. A drop of oil might even help.

How to adjust AIWA Turntable PX-E860U speed

Found this post trying to troubleshoot my Aiwa PX-E860U-after replacing the belt and lubricating bearings, the speed was off. 33 setting was playing slow. Here's the fix:
1. unplug and flip upside down
2. Locate the two holes marked 33 & 45 where black dots are visible underneath
3. Using a very small flat screwdriver(I used one from an eyeglass repair kit), adjust the speed clockwise for faster, counterclockwise for slower

this is a DIY solution, so not perfect, but it works. I played the tracks along to a Spotify recording to get a good match. Hope this helps someone else!

I have an Aiwa PX-E80K turntable. Whenever I start the turntable, the tonearm raises moves across, drops on the outer edge of the vinyl then then turntable stops. The belt is still attached. Anyone able to...

I suspect the belt is that slack that when the arm weight is on the record, the belt slips around the shaft of the motor. Does it start up again when the arm is lifted up? If it does then you need a new belt.
