Have you tried cleaning the *******? Sometimes the ******* will build up with naturally occurring calcium and heavy minerals from the water supply line. They freeze up and prohibit the water from spraying out. The water should come out as soon as the unit starts, perhaps that's the problem.
Check the entire water supply line and see if there is a clog or something. We once had a cockroach die in the reservoir at the top where the water is cooled. Make sure to check the entire area.

This answer came straight from the manufacture: Stop the ice maker, and restart when the ice blocks melt. Select the
small ice size. Also Change the water in the reservoir.
Use water between 45 -90 F.
Not sure if that will do it but that is the only fix we could find straight from the manufacture. We wish you the best.
