Sounds kinda funny but try unplugging they dishwasher for about 3 minutes where there's no power running to it. The plug should be underneath your sink. Then plug it back in and turn it on and see if it will cycle

SOURCE: Machine won't drain fully

If the drain pump is working fine, and water flows from the machine and there are no clogged drain lines, then the problem is usually the water level sensor.

This is usually a floater sensor located on a side inside the dishwasher.

Check if water level is working properly, if the floater is too low then that is the problem.

SOURCE: Bosch SHX33A runs continuously. Never finishes cycle.

I have a guide here to walk you through the process of clearing the drain system. You most likely have a clog somewhere and the dishwasher can't proceed because it would cause it to flood.

I have smeg built in dishwasher. Acts like running cycle but i don't think it's getting enough water. the soap tables are not dissoved. before if opened door during cycle lots of water but now none

Check water inlet filter, check for blockage at the stop valve .

The rubber washer does come loose and blocks/limits the flow into the dishwasher. The fill cycle is on a timer and any restrictions in the water connection will under-fill the unit.
Hope this helps?

My dishes are still wet after the cycle has finished why?

Hi.

Ensure that there is no water at the bottom of the tub. If there is water, check drain well and drain hose, then test pressure switch in the drain system.

If there is no water, the the thermostat (or the dryness) sensor must be replaced.

In that case, cintact Smeg at the number listed on the owners manual.

ASKO dishwasher won't drain and makes rattling sound.

I had tried several failed attempts to fix this problem. Finally I got on my knees and asked God to make the dishwasher run in Christ's name. The dishwasher just completed it's first cycle without any problems.

Smeg Dishwasher

This is usually the heating element - corrosion lets small amounts of water through the element jacket, making the mineral insulation inside slightly damp. When the machine applies power to the element, enough current leaks from live to earth to trip the RCD. In the absence of a proper electrician's insulation tester (a DVM in ohms mode doesn't test at a high enough voltage to give a meaningful result) the best way to prove this fault is to (carefully, and with the power off!) disconnect and tie back the wires that go to the element, then run the machine and see if it gets any further in the cycle.
