Go to - Plenty of answers there! And yes, you have to master or export the tracks to .mp3 or .wav. These files will be located in the mp3 folder. Boss also makes a free .wav converter located on their website.

SOURCE: I have boss micro br hooked up to my computer it

You won't find a specific Micro Br Icon since it is a data transfer connection only.

Try going to "My computer" and it should appear similar to when you plug in a USB stick. It MIGHT have a meaningful name, but it might not.

SOURCE: how do i connect active speakers to a BOSS br 1600

I would come out of the line out jacks on the studio into the line in jacks on the speakers. Make sure both ends of the cables have the correct plugs on them. I'll include a link in case you don't have the correct manual:

SOURCE: just bought Kingston 2GB SD Card for Boss Micro BR

This is likely a compatibility issue. Turn power off and remove the card and make sure the unit comes back to life.

SD card compatibility can be a problem.

You might want to go to as there is a lot of info on forums about recorders.

SOURCE: Is the Boss Dr-5 compatable with the Boss BR-1180 mini studio?

The beats you have programmed into the drum machine will not play through the midi cable. In order to do what you want you need to connect the audio output from the drum machine to the audio input of the br-1180. What you should then do is connect the MIDI out of the the br1180 to the midi in of the Dr5. This will allow you to start and stop the drum machine with the play button on the br1180. MIDI can be a complicated thing so be sure to RTFM about MIDI for both of your BOSS devices to understand what they can do to work together. Good Luck

When I record with the internal mic or the BA

I had that problem too. What you need to check is the input level on the right side. Turn the wheel all the way up to 100 and the internal mic should be fine.

My micro br got wet. when i discovered this it had fixed on hold. I dried it out for a day and it seemed to be working fine but a couple of days later now and all the displays seem to be fine but there is...

I am sure it can be repaired. Whenever ANY electronics get wet, IMMEDIATELY remove ANY pwer sources, including internal batteries.

If wetting was not pure water, flush unit with de-ionized water till absolutely clean of any residue. shake out all water and allow to dry a week before applying power.

What do I need to burn a cd from my pc with the br 1180

This Is real simple grab a cable that goes from rca jacks to a headphone jack then plug the rca jacks into the br-1180's audio out jack and then plug the other end into your computers mic port.
Download Audacity From and then use it to capture you audio and then you can burn that when complete.
Its real simple I do it all the time even though I have the br-1180cd the cd burner burns real quiet so I don't use it. The cable can be bought at radio shack, best buy, wal-mart and I have even seen them at 99 cent only stores.
If you have more question let me know This Is my main unit so I know a lot about it.

Boss BR900CD External MIDI

I'm not totally familiar with that Boss Digital Audio Workstation but it sounds like what you want to do is record both the music and vocal track at the same time. If that's the case I believe you can push both "Line" and "Mic" input buttons (perhaps not exactly named as such) at the same time to record both simultaneously. Otherwise I would suggest copying the music to it's own stereo track (or two individual tracks, each panned opposite from one another to maintain stereo) and then record your vocal track separately. That way you can record several takes and edit down the best parts to one final track.
I hope that helps.
