I have mistakenly changed my wireless network settings on my DELL XPS M1330. I see my wireless router on teh netowrk list but it now has a red x against it and an error message 'the settings saved on this computer for the network do not match the requirements of the network' I also have a small samsung NC10 and it is connected OK so I know the router is working fine.

Look in your icon tray for the wireless device, right click on it, pick connections, highlight your existing home network, Delete it then start a new connection to the same signal and input the password if you are using one. Hint: you will get the same red X if your hard wired network cable is not being used as well. So make you know what the red X is for.
