Question about Freezers
SOURCE: i have a 13 cuft
I WOULD TAKE THE LID OFF AND REPAIR IT, USE SILICONE,ALCOHOL TO CLEAN BOTH SURFACES, AND SOME SMALL POP RIVETS.. GO TO ACE HARDWARE AND ASK ONE OF THE GUYS FOR THIS STUFF, ASK HIM FOR RECOMMEND REPAIR TECHNIQUES PICTURES OR THE LID IN THE BACK OF YOUR TRUCK, SO HE CAN SEE IT .. CUZ FLAT OUT YOU AINT GOING TO FIND A LID, AND IF YOU DO DON'T BE SURPRISED IF ITS 200$ OR MORE .. JAY THE PUMP REPAIR GUY FLORIDA

Air might be getting in. The lid gasket may need to be replaced. If so, you could do it yourself, with a gasket ordered online or purchased in a home improvement store.The lid may not fit properly. There could be too much food inside, packed against it.
