I have a Frigidaire FRA053PU113 portable room air conditioner and I would like to know the location of the temperature sensor. The sensor is item 22 on the parts list, the part number is 5304484406

air conditioner thermostats are located at the front/top of the evaporator coil air inlet where they can monitor the air temperature coming back into the unit from the room
most are a small tube or bulb attached to the fins

My thermostat showing on screen 76F when really room temperature is 70F and I HAVE MEASURED PROPER room sensor resistance OHMS to real room temperature. Why thermostat showing higher temperature and n

Where is the thermostat in relation to the return? Is there air flow or is the air stagnant in the area of the thermostat. Have you placed a thermometer in varios locations where the thermostat is located? Try these locations and see if the thermostat needs to be placed in a location better able to reflect room temperature. Also how long have you lived in the house? If it is a newer home I suggest that you contact the builder or the air conditioner/heater installer to see if they have a schematic of the placement of the thermostats.

I have a Mitsubishi air conditioner GA35VA system. 1. HEAT: If outside temp is bellow (aprox.) 16C, no heat is produced. the system starts. The outside compressor starts to work but stops after some...

Your problem is outside, i can see why he would say it is a sensor problem ...But perhaps it is your fan not turning at the correct speed. example if on a really hot day your air conditioning cuts out it could be your pressure is too high which would trip your compressor. What refrigerant does this system use? and is this a new installation? or is it an old installation new problem? Do something for the MUZ-GA35VA external device open the top when u have another failure and on the board there should be a particular type of flashing pattern, that "should" be fairly accurate in diagnosing the problem. What does the code F1-1 mean on Jenn-Air downdraft model?

If you see the F1-1 error code, I recommend that you continue to use the Quick Test to display the temperature sensed by the probe in the oven. If that temperature is way off, I recommend that you shut off the house circuit breaker for the range and check the resistance of the oven temperature sensor probe. The second image below shows how to access that component. Measure the resistance of the sensor with a volt/ohm meter. It should measure about 1100 ohms at room temperature (75 degrees). I provided a temperature/resistance chart in the first image. If the resistance of the probe is bad, then you will need to replace that component (part number 12001656).

zjlimited_1408.jpg__zjlimited_1409.jpg

You can order parts from the Sears PartsDirect website. If the sensor probe is okay, you will probably need to replace the control board in the console. I recommend that you have a service technician replace this component.

Hope helps.

On my 1998 Buick Riviera the outside temp display is not correct. How is this repaires

There is usually a Air Temperature Sensor Probe located in the front of your car, close to or under the Radiator that senses and reads the ambient air temperature. The probe could be dirty or bad, try cleaning it first with a mild cleaner, if it still is not working correctly, replace it.

Need to know the location of the iat sensor for a 94 honda accord.

Not 100% sure of exact location but IAT stands for "incoming air temperature", so I'd start at air inlet to throttlebody, and look close at intake manifold areas, as well. Should be a small probe into opening.

A couple questions

Please reconsider your application because anti-ice controls where
designed as minimum compressor protection from freeze-up.
Freeze-up means the energy transfer (refrigerant boiling) is minimized
and can mean liquid slugging at the compressor. These compressors
are designed for vapour compression. Not hydraulics. Can also reduce
bearing lifespan due to reduced lubrication.
Suggest secure commercial cooler components with appropriate safeties and controls to provide safer operation.

Error code A5 on Frigidaire 12,000 btu air conditioner

I have a Frigidaire model FAK104R1V window air conditioner that did the same AS error code. The problem is going to be one of the 2 temperature sensors in the unit. Mine happened to be the ambient temperature sensor located at the front of the unit. They are fairly easy to replace and you can buy a new sensor for about $15 online.
