My manitowoc ice machine is making ice too slow and ice is smaller than it should be

SOURCE: ice cube cycle time very high

i suspect a defective liquid line or pump down seleonid coil. just make sure you hear the "click" when it starts up if not the selenoid coils could be defective. also verify that the condenser fan is running,because if not you are short-cycling on high head pressure. please contact if you need any additional info

find the filter remove clean with water, coils should be shiney. This should fix the problem

Very unusual for one of these to not stop. There is a magnetic proximity switch located on the bottom right side of the water curtain that serves to both cancel a harvest/drop and to shut the unit down on a full bin. When a drop occurs the control board sees a open and then close of the switch and restarts a freeze mode. If the ice drops and the bin is full the curtain is blocked by the ice behind it from closing again and the unit shuts down on a full bin indication. If the curtain does not open and close after 3 hours it would lock the unit out. Therefore I assume that the switch and the board are working. Most likely you either have the unit on a non-Manitowoc bin or are missing a deflector plate in the Manitowoc bin and the ice is falling out of a service door.

I'm not sure what you mean by a series 100. Manitowoc series are by the model number first letter. B-series, Q-series, J-series, etc. A 100 lb Q-series would be the most recent. If memory serves they started with A, C, E, G, B, J, S, and are now on Q. You can get most of the service books on their website here.

You're bridge thickness is set to high, lower the bridge on the sensor located when you open the front door behind the water curtain on the top. If the sensor is scaled badly replace it.
