Caller ID
If you subscribe to caller ID service, information about each caller appears after the first or second ring. If you answer a call before the caller information appears on the screen, it will not be saved in the caller ID log. The caller ID log stores up to 50 entries. Each entry has up to 24 digits for the phone number and 15 characters for the name. If the telephone number has more that 15 digits, only the last 15 digits appear. If the name has more than 15 characters, only the first 15 characters are shown and saved in the caller ID log. Review a caller ID log entry Press CID when the phone is not in use. Scroll to browse through the caller ID log. When the desired entry appears: Press repeatedly to show different dialing options. Press 1 repeatedly if you need to add or remove 1 in front of the phone number. Press or to dial the displayed number. Call block
If you subscribe to caller ID service, you can set the telephone to block unknown calls and certain undesired calls. The call block list stores up to 20 entries. Block unknown calls Press MENU when the phone is not in use. Scroll to Call block, and then press SELECT. Scroll to Calls w/o num, and then press SELECT. Scroll to choose Not block or Block, and then press SELECT. Add a call block list entry 1. Press MENU when the phone is not in use. 2. Scroll to Call block, and then press SELECT. 3. Scroll to Block list, and then press SELECT. 4. Scroll to Add new entry, and then press SELECT. 5. Enter the number. • Use the dialing keys to enter the number (up to 30 digits). 6. When you find the right phone (usually ext 101) you'll be able to press PROG and dial **1234. Pick program number 004 and ENTER a couple of times and you'll be looking at the name for extension 101. There's a TDA Operating Manual that will give you a little bit more help. Here's one http://public.carl.airpost.net/misc/200_TDA_OM_10-11.pdf Page 188 is the key sequence, using the character entry guide on page 50, once you do one, you'll figure out how to step through the entry using the letters buttons and the right arrow key if the character is the same.

To edit a Phone Book entry that has already been entered, you have several options:

1. Call GreatCall Customer Service for assistance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 1-800-733-6632.
2. Create an account at mygreatcall.com and modify your Phone Book online.
3. Manually modify the entry on your phone.

To manually edit an entry, it depends somewhat on what model phone you have. To save space, I will assume you have the newest model, the Jitterbug J. If not, I recommend you call our Customer Service for further assistance.

From the Phone Book, press the up arrow and you will see the option EDIT PHONE BOOK. Press YES to select. Select the option "Modify" to edit an existing contact. You will then scroll through your phonebook until you find the entry you would like to edit. Press YES to modify that entry. It will then give you the option to edit both the name and the phone number. Select YES once you are done making your changes at each screen until you see the message "Successfully Modified" at which point you are done!

go to your phonebook and locate the number you want to change.when there your will modify or edit.you can now make changes either the number or name

Please refer to the manual page 5-6 for how to storing caller's information names and numbers.

To set the time of the phone, there are several way that may help, please try the following suggestion method:

Method 1:
1) Press PROG soft button, follow by HOLD button.
2) LCD show direct the time adjust, key in the correct time, let's say 8.15am, so key in 815 and press STORE.
3) Press END or HOLD to end the setting.

Method 2:
1) Press PROG soft button, follow by HOLD button, follow by # button.
2) LCD show time adjust, key in the correct time, let's say 8.15am, so key in 815 and press STORE.
3) Press again # button to select between AM and PM mode.
4) Press again STORE to save the setting.
5) Press END or HOLD to end the setting.

Method 3:
1) Press PROG button, follow by key * * 1 2 3 4.
2) Press key 0 0 0 to display the day/time setting.
3) Press |> or SP-PHONE button if u wish to change the date.
4) Press |> or SP-PHONE button to change the time.
5) Press CLEAR or TRANSFER button to change current hour entry.
6) Press |> or FWD/DND button to change current minutes entry.
7) Press |> or FWD/DND button again and AUTO ANS button to change between AM or PM.
8) Press STORE to save the setting.
9) Press END or HOLD to end the setting.

I can help you with the phone numbers on your Garmin Nuvi 265WT.

The phone numbers transferred to your Nuvi are only supposed to be available when your phone is paired to your cell phone. Changing the entry on your phone should allow that entry to show up changed the next time it is paired with the Nuvi. Sometimes, a bluetooth mix up causes entries to be duplicated or entries' phone numbers to get repeated.

To correct this, I recommend backing up your favorites, clearing all user data (this hard reset will remove the phonebook info from your nuvi), and then updating your Nuvi' firmware to make sure the nuvi and cell phone bluetooth process runs as smoothly as possible in the future.

Follow these three steps to take to get your Nuvi 265WT running like new:

1. Back up your Favorites.
2. Perform a Hard Reset.
3. Download and then run Garmin 265WT WebUpdater to replace its firmware / system software.

Easiest way would be to log into the programming tool and make the change there. However if you do not have access to the tool you should ask you installer to provide you with it. There is a user mode that will allow you to change only the Speed dial numbers and text.

Go to the Menu, select Phonebook Entry. I think it is option 3. Then select the option you want to change (Speed Dial, Phone Book, or Group). Select Modify. From there you can make changes to the phone number or name.
