I have this problem and just called a parts store to find that a new bezel is $414.79! The screws were apparently loosening up slowly and by the time they were scratching the trim piece on the top of oven door (and I noticed it) the damage had been done. Has anyone been able to get Dacor to replace this part w/o charge? It isn't a case of misuse, but is a design flaw. Lindsey

I was wondering if you ever got a resolution to your problem with Dacor replacing the bezel due to design flaw. Thank you(not a solution but a question).

F1 error code on Dacor RSD30S. Code comes on for no apparent reason, range not in use. Hitting cancel no longer resets range, I have to pull fuses to stop beeping.

Hello,

The F1 error code means that a button on the touchpad is stuck and sometimes it could be resolved by clearing the code by pushing the cancel button, having done that and it no longer clears that F1 code the touchpad would need to be replaced to keeping it from beeping nonstop.

The part number for that touchpad is 82063B it could be picked up at your local appliance parts store or online at;

My RSD30S Dacor Range is giving an F1 error code for a while now. What is the expected total cost of repair?

Hi

Error code F1 means that an error with the keypad has occurred. Usually it happens due to loose ribbon cable on the keypad or the electronic control assembly itself going bad. To resolve this issue first, disconnect the power to unit and then gain access to the back of the clock assembly (Electronic Range Control/ERC). Now unplug the touch pad ribbon connector from the ERC, it would be a flat wire approx. 1 1/2" to 2" wide and make sure that the cable is not broken and nothing is shorted on the keypad. After this is done insert the cable back and then plug the unit back to check. If the error is still there then the electronic control board should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Oven is flashing F0 how do I tell if it needs the bezel with touch keys or a ERC?

Hi dennis_r_mei,

Just replace touch pad or if touch pad is part of the clock, replace the clock (ERC).

Hope it helps.

The seal in the bezel is probably dried and cracked. The bezel and lenze are easy to romove. Just turn it until the teeth line up in the back and it should pop loose. -------- Remove the instrument panel top cover.Remove the screws and remove the cluster bezel. Check out.Thanks.Keep updated.

Sparks and lightning like flashes appear when the microwave is on. It is a Dacor 24''

If something like a knife, spoon or fork is in the micro, this usually happens. It could also be that the interior of the micro may be damaged due to rust. Check for open metal, cracks or paint missing on the inside of the microwave.

Dacor error codes

HI. the F-1 code is a System Watchdog Circuit failure code.

Press "Cancel", if beeping continues after 30 seconds, replace the main control board (also called clock or ERC).

Concerning the F-5 code. This is an oven temp sensor failure code. have it replaced asap. ((Check the wiring leading to and from the control and sensor for cracks and fouled structure. if the wiring is bad, replace the harness as well)),
