Russell hobbs rhhb3 handheld stopped working

Like your problem, mine the same. trying to figure out how to take it appart to see what isn't working. Power?

Yes, pry the display cover off and you will find 2 screws. You will find a switch and circuit board. From the circuit board to the switch you will finf a fuse. This is probaby the problem.

I had the same problem and was able to disassemble the unit down to the brushes!! Pretty easy when you know their dirty little secret!!

There is no such button, most likely the motor has failed.

I also needed a seal - contacted Russell Hobbs - told that product is discontinued - they do not hold stock on the seal. Great service !!

I have just bought a Professional Platinum 4500 blender. When I press the self clean button, there is no cycle; it stops as soon as I release the button. What am I doing wrong? I followed the instructions...

I'm afraid I can't answer this, but am posting to say I've just discovered exactly the same problem with my newly-purchased blender - same model - and have contacted Russell Hobbs service department to find out if I'm doing anything wrong (i'm sure I'm not!). I'll post any response here.

It runs until I put it into the liquid then the detachable blender stops working.

It seems that the power is low on to the motor and so will have to see if there is a friction on the drive.
If not check the motor for poor brush connections that reduces the power when the load is applied.
The other problem is if cleaning can solve it will be the best as a replacement may not be feasible with the cost and availability.
Hope you try this tip.

Contact the manufacturer. It's probably still under warranty
