If you think you need to replace it, first make sure you can get the part.
then look for a parts breakdown at an online parts store. If that doesn't help you will have to hunt and peck to figure it out. Do not be too aggressive, though after all these years things will be stuck.

try to soak hot water around the base unplug firts and pour hot water slowly at the base

Remove the little rubber feed on the bottom of the base (they might be glued a bit so be careful not to rip them). This will reveal 4 phillips head screws...remove them...this will open the base and reveal the back site of the rotor. In the middle you will see a turban blade like wheel with a large flat tip screw. Wedge a large screwdriver between the teeth of the old clutch so that when you turn the flat tip screw it will stop rotating the other end. Turn the screw with some force to the right to losen the clutch...then do the reverse to get the new one on tight...put everything back together and there you have it.
Keep in mind that this might void your warrenty if you still have some on it.

It's not a typical fuse, it's a thermal protective fuse. Looks more like a diode. They sell them a Radio Shack. You'll have to use crimp connectors to replace because a soldering iron will ruin it.

You can try the sears online parts store for help they may be able to get the parts you need as they are pretty much the same. iF YOUdon't find it let me know and I will resurch it for you and find the part it is eather the druve nut has come loose or the teeth on the plastic shaft has worn off, it is possible to super glue it to hold if you cant find the part.
