I have had my GE Profile Microwave for only 13 months and the keypad does not work at all. I called customer service and the tech came and said the part is $900! Are they kidding me! I just bought this. What a piece of ****! I knew I should have purchased the Thermadore equipment. I am going to complain to customer service. I refuse to pay this. Has anyone has had problems like this with fairly new microwave from GE?

Customer service is not typically staffed by technicians, so they probably don't understand what is really needed to fix it.
