I have a Dell 922 printer and I'm having a feeding problem. When I print, the right side of the paper starts to feed but the left side does not, causing a jam.

Dell 922 all in one printer pulls 1/4 of paper thru then stops and message reads load paper; then press menu. It seems to be pulling to one side when it feeds.

sounds almost like theirs something causing the track to hang up. i bet a ripped or shredded piece of paper, maybe it wrapped around the track that pulls the paper in. track meaning the rollers, they have been known to get stuck. open your back access panel and see if theirs a clog. also note: some but few printers will work with the access panel off in the back. watch the paper feed and see if you can figure out why its locking up.

The Dell 922 printer will not feed paper through it. I can hear the noise, but the paper won't go through.

Mine does this regularly as well. If you lean over the top of the printer and look down inside where the paper is inserted, there is a gray roller on the right hand side. It's a rubber feed roller and mine usually gets dusty or sometimes coated with cat hair. I use qtips and a 50/50 alcohol & water solution to gently clean it. Be careful not to drip solution anywhere else. After it dries it usually regains enough "grab" to feed again. I hope this is helpful..

I have a Dell all in one 922 printer When I try

If your device is out of warranty, I'd suggest to clean the rollers again completely. What I mean is to remove the scanner lid and back cover, then clean all of the rubber rollers gently with alcohol and swabs.

Paper feed problem with Dell 922

Take a cotton swab and some alcohol and clean the rollers. They may be filled with paper fibers.

Dell 922 All-in one ink jet printer paper feed

Normal 0 I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the print button applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it will feed through the printer. The reason for this, is in some cases I have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there over time.
Worth a try, as I have fixed a number of printers this way, saving costly repairs.
Hope this helps. Bud

Dell 922 All-In-One Printer will not print anything

The printer does not feed paper from the tray and then states that there is a paper jam. I have removed all paper and there isn't a paper jam. It will feed paper through the lower roller and straight into the printed paper tray, but will not feed a new sheet.

Paper feed

The feed rollers are probably dirty from paper lint. The feed roller on the 922 is on the right side as you face the front of the printer. I use a damp sponge to clean it. Good luck.

yes, clean your paper feed roller with rubbing alcohol on a microfiber towel sounds like a traction problem.
