You have to replace the main control board . The clicking is the compressor board relay , which the only repair , is to replace the main board .

Why does 15 amp 250 volt fuse in my lg refridgerator keep blowing

the 15 amp fuse is blowing because the current draw to run the compressor exceeds 15 amps
that problem could be from a failed start/ run capacitor or a failed compressor motor (I am betting on the capacitor)
the best answer is to get a fridge technician to check it out as the capacitor is a cheap fix while the compressor unit is as costly as a new fridge

Hello,
That condenser fan motor needs to be replaced. You and doing the right thing as far as using a seperate fan to keep compressor cool, buy replacing the fan the compressor will run cooler and click off by being too hot as you have heard/seen.

Find your model number and call your local appliance parts store and see if they have a CONDERSER FAN MOTOR in stock

Clicking noise coming from refrigerator

If the "clicking" noise is from a relay on the board or compressor, it's likely th compressor would be cycling on and off.

It could be a fan blade (evaporator or condenser) hitting something. Both fans only run when the compressor is on. This should be addressed ASAP as it could be a wire it's rubbing on.

Finally, the noise could be caused by the refrigerant within the sealed refrigeration system. This noise is more of a nuisance rather than a mechanical failure.

The refridgerator runs but does not cool or freeze anything. There is a clicking noise everytime it tries to cool.

sounds like the compressor has seized and the click is the relay starter to get it going. if it is running and getting very hot the likelyhood is that there is a refridgerant leak.

Don't start smooth

restarting of refridgerator may damage your compressor motor due to overload.

when you switch off the refridgerator the compressor is in load condition, sudden restart overload the motor, it consume more current so the light going to dim.

solution. If your refridgerator have no delay circuit inside,
use a refridgerator stabilizer or attach a delay circuit,
if you have the the restart delay circuit may problem repair it.
