Sputtering enguine so this sounds lame but when i drive with heels on, i notice it sputters less and when i wear flats it sputters more, i realize that im more aggressive with the pedals when im in heels cause i can reach them better...? please help.

Go to the auto parts and get a container of Heat fuel treatment and get a new fuel filter also. Then pour in the proper amount of fuel treatment and change the fuel filter. This should fix your problem. Also when was the last time you changed the air filter. This would help it run better and increase your mileage.

Clean your MAF sensor and throttle body. If it's dirty it will send wrong voltage to ECU, running either too lean or too rich, most likely too rich and flooded the fuel injectors.

I have a 1990 Buick Century with 3.3 v6. My car would sputter and the check engine light would come on and off while driving and the car would die when I came to a stop and tried to take off. I noticed my cooling fan turning on and off even when the car was not up to temp, and that is when the check engine light would come on. I changed the temp sensor and all is well.

catalitic converter is clogged up its not lettig the car breath

To start off has the car had a good thorough tuneup lately? Plugs, wires, coils, fuel and air filter?

When your car acts up... tap on your Mass Airflow Sensor (MAF) and if your car idles fine and stops sputtering while doing this replace your MAF sensor.

tuneup either u have a bad plug wire or a bad plug sometimes the coil pac could be breaking down but im leaning toward tuneup.

has the fuel filter been changed? this sounds like low fuel pressure due to a partially clogged filter or defective fuel pump..
