Asi gave mine laptop compaq c700 pc notebook to hp service centre for check up. they told me that there is a hard disk problem .so the problem was "HDD test fail & check with another HDD.& all devices working properly without HDD. Failed -replace hard disk (warranty ID -error code -10008).first tell me what thus hard disk (warranty ID -error code -10008) means ???????? Secondly,so they ask me to replace hard disk but its 2 expensive .so there is an alternate way if yes then immmediately reply me .

all the required drivers for the notebook should be available in the disk that came with the notebook else
u can get the drivers for the specific model from Compaq / HP site or u can search goofle to locate the drivers..."Compaq c700 drivers" in google search will get u the sites for driver downloads.

The nearest place would be to go to Anna Salai in Chennai or there is one in 5th Avenue Anna Nagar Chennai. They will be able to help you.

I HAVE NO AUDIO DRIVER COMPAQ C700

If you are purchasing the laptop from a retailer, there will most likely be a disk with the laptop (sometimes called a Restoration Disk) that contains everything that will wipe the hard drive and reinstall everything so it is back to how it left the manufacturer. If it didn't come with any disks, I have found:

Just click the exact model, then OS and then they will give you a list of (I think) all the drivers you should need for a Compaq Presario c700.
