The JVC KD-G140 does not have a Bluetooth option, either built-in or with an adapter. And as far as I can tell, it doesn't have a "mute" or "phone" wire which would allow installation of a generic bluetooth adapter, such as the Parrot. If you want to connect your cellphone, I'd recommend you look at an upgrade here.

did you hook this head unit up or did you have some one hook it up for you? most of the time it is that factory amp that makes it cute in and out. take the head unit out of you car and hook it up with a 12 volt power in your house or on you battary with a speaker and if it still cuts out the amp chip need to be replaced. let me know if this helped. thanks.
for turn off this radio press power botton for 3 second. if you press only with one touch is for mute. turn on press one secon---turn off press 3 second---1 touch is mute.
PRESS THE 'SEL" BUTTON MORE THAN TWO SECONDS AND THEN WITH THE KNOB VOLUME CHANGE SET HOUR THEN PRESS THE FORWARD BUTTON TO SET THE MINUTES WITH THE KNOB VOLUME THEN PRESS SOURCE.
unfortunately the jvc radio model # kd-g140 will not play mp3 on a cd disk- it will play a mp3 player thru the aux jack on the front of the head unit- please rate my help
