I would replace the audio cable from the CD player to the Denon amp, a long shot, if you have other devices hooked to the amp and plays fine, the problem will be in the CD player. However! if all sound sources have the same problem, the issue is with the Denon unit.
solder a new one on.their is no other fix, appart from taking a battery out of a laptop, cutting off the plug & soldering the + & - ends of the cable to the board.
yah you must buy a Y-USB cable for your external hardisk. this is connection both ends are one is for hardisk and the other two cable is for USB slot of computer. why it two wires connection to usb because one wire is for Data and the other is for Power. If doesn't work..it might be a problem in your Operating system. i recommend to you to reinstall your Windows OS.. theres a 4 reasons why it happen appear the error... deffective USB cable..corrupted driver of USB device for seagate, virus infected of your systems..and maybe your hardive is deffective. Please rate if this is HELPFUL..thanks
You will almost certainly find that the internal battery has died. So the machine cannot store the time where you are so it cannot find satelllites unless you wait a very long time. You can prove this by looking for a stored waypoint. If all your waypoints have gone, then this is the problem. In my experience the batteries only last about 4 years.

The front and rear plastic grills of the Hybrid GP trigger a power cut-off safety mechanism if either of the grills is not entirely in place. The grills have a tendency to slide down ever so slightly if bumped. The tiniest amount of slippage is enough to engage the power cut-off and it's not generally noticeable unless you know what to look for. If the Hybrid GP has no power at all, you may need to slide one or both of the grills upward just a hair. You should hear and feel a slight click when the grills are properly locked into place.
I am also trying to get one of these drives working. One "quirk" about this drive is that it actually uses two USB ports and a rechargeable battery when it is not connected to the AC adapter. Why? Because it draws a lot of current - each USB port on a laptop can supply a limited amount of current. Using two USB ports allows the drive to draw the amount of current it needs. So I would suggest using two USB cables. Weird huh?
You might be able to get away with using just one USB cable if you have the AC adapter connected.
Get a new external carrier, new external drive, or find a power supply that puts out the same voltage and at least the same current. If you cannot find a power supply with the same connector you can cut the cables on the new power supply and the old one and splice the connector from the old power supply on.
BTW please try to put some more specific information when asking about a problem. The more info the easier it is to solve.
