Phone dies after only texting maybe three or four times even though it was just taken off the charger.

How u gonna hard reset it when its stuck on black screen?

It could be your charger. Even though charger light is on it maybe defective. Can you put in another phone or borrow one and/or charger from a friend?

My phone did this a few times as well. It went on for a few days, I couldn't answer my phone unless it was closed and I slid it open, couldn't look at text messages, nothing. Finally it died and I recharged it and it started working again.
Later on the phone also would act like I was randomly opening it, so it would light up, causing the battery to die faster. Once it died completely I charged it and it worked fine again. So far it's been a month and it hasn't happened again. Now though my phone stops working where I can't receive calls or text or make calls or send texts. This can last for 20 minutes to 3 hours at a time. I can't wait to get a new phone!!!

The phone is programmed (maybe by accident or fault) to think your connector are the headphones, normally the phone would ring out loud as I am sure you know, but like on the Smasung GT-S3G50 when the headphones are in the vibration/ message tone is heard via the headphones, if this dosen't work I suggest you speak to a proffesional or the shop you bought it from.

I think your battery is in need of replacement ...

Usually this has to do with cells in the rechargeable batteries dying and then not allowing them to hold a charge as long usually requiring you to replace batteries because over time it will get worse and the talk time allowed or off the charger will become less and less

yes,the charger will charge three batteries at a time if you like. three batteries will charge faster than four batteries. you can even charge one battery by itself.
