Try using it at a different location in the house(different circuit) if it also blows that fuse, there must be a short in the unit. do not use. if it works means line in the kitchen is overload, and you need a higher fuse rating or breaker.

SOURCE: Makes a loud humming sound and blows fuse behind controll panel

Most likely a shorted capacitor is causing the fuse to blow. Easy and cheap to fix.

SOURCE: Turn on microwave and it blows the fuse.

This is almost certainly a shorted high voltage capacitor, part # RC-QZB018MRE0 (zeroes, not "ohs").

What is the reason for high voltage fuse to blow outon microwave.

The only reason for any fuse to "blow" open is a direct short. The most common reason, in a microwave oven, is the Magnetron. This is the device that generates the microwaves. If this is the case, repair is not very economical.
If you have a volt meter or a device that can check for resistance, check for anything that is shorted or "0" Ohms to ground.
I hope that his helps answer your question.

The microwave unit in my Thermodore CMT231 has abruptly stopped working. I suspect a fuse may have blown. Is this self-serviceable? I am pretty much a novice.

When you say it stopped working , you mean no lights or display etc. Then that can be a fuse but fuses blow for a reason. Find the reason if the fuse blew.

Whirlpool microwave fuse has blown multiple times

It depends on which fuse and when it blows. Wish you had mentioned that.

But usually it's a defective door switch or door switch mount.

If the fuse blows at random times while it's cooking, it may just be a loose fuse holder. Those have to be replaced due to metal fatigue, not just squeezed tight with pliers.

If it blows as soon as you hit "Start" to begin cooking, you have a shorting high voltage capacitor.

If it blows when you open or close the door, you have a loose or defective door switch or latch.

You can find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number from the tag on the oven here.

When I turn on microwave oven fuse is burn out right a way. Thank you

Fuses burn for a reason: because the circuit is being overloaded. There could be several causes, first determine what else goes off when the fuse blows. All of the things that go off when the fuse is removed/blown/burnt are on the same circuit. A microwave is a heavy load, somewhere between 750 watts and 2000 watts, depending on the microwave. Remove other heavy loads (items which use lots of power) from the circuit. A 15 amp 120 volt circuit in a residence is good for 1800 watts (or 1440 watts continuously). If you had a 1500 watt microwave and four 100 watt light bulbs on the same circuit, you would be overloading the circuit. With a microwave, it is best to have it on its own circuit with nothing else (if possible). The fuse may also blow or burn in this situation if there is a problem with the microwave.

Fuse size for sharp mircowave r 520ks

The fuse will be a 20amp ceramic. The fuse should be available at hardware stores, Radio Shack.
If the fuse is blown, there is a very good chance you have another problem, possibly a bad or misaligned door switch, shorted capacitor. Replace the fuse, if it blows again you will have to figure out why. Door switches are the most common reason for the fuse to blow.

Microwave turns on everything works but is not heating up food what can I do, I am a license electrician is there a fuse in side?

Yes if you remove panel you will find a capsule with a ceramic fuse inside so you can check it out.
Many times the fuse blown out from long time use, however if it will blow out you need to check what was the reason for bowing the fuse.

Unit dead Unit is dead - suspect blown fuse

Usually, when your microwave oven doesn't work it all, the internal fuse (thermal fuse) is blown. This fuse protects both you and the oven. When it blows, you need to have a qualified appliance repair technician replace it.

The reason for this is that if you do not have any experience and training with microwaves, you can get a SEVERE shock, even if the oven is unplugged. THAT being said, if you still want to know where the fuse is get back to me. good luck.

ALSO, as you may know, a small microwave these days is under fifty bucks at walmart.
