Yes. Just got mine running on Windows ME. Problem is getting the SCSI set up. Once you get that done, I used Vuescan (http://www.hamrick.com/) and it works. Slow, but functional. I have yet to get scans of the full scanner screen (10 x 14 inches). But 8 x 10 is working fine.

My computer just went belly up! It is a reconditioned IBM ThinkCenter, a little over 2 years old. It was running normally and then all hell broke lose, cooling fan went berserk sounding like a hair dryer...

Since your PC is two years old its recommended to check your computers hardware check your cooling fan
specially CPU cooling fan if that fan is broken your pc wont work and be careful turning on your PC again and again will burn the processor

Please remove ginuine micro software from my desktop

hell iam vishal i will tell you solution,
to remove the software you need to run your system in safe mode
1)restart your pc
2)press 3-4 times F8 then it will load safe mode and press enter
3)go to control panel--add or remove programs
4)select uninstall
or you can downlaod the microsoft uninstaller simply to install...

What video cards are compatable

This computer comes with a Nvidia FX5200 so this tells me that it can support any AGP8X Graphics Card.
