Have a savin 8035e need to activate fax and scanning

Want to use the fax and or scanner features on a savin 8035e but need guidance on how to activate these fuctions.....

is there printed instructions that can be obtained to help with this process..

When i scan and e-mail a doc to an outside address i get a mesag on the LED that says

If its just to an outside email address, then your IT needs to turn on Relay.

Try going through the Ricoh website, the product code is B291. The Savin 8035e is the same as Ricoh Aficio MP 3500, Lanier LD335 and Gestetner DSm735e. Hope this helps

How to set up email accounts

first you have to give SMTP server IP address to the machine in file transfor then you have to press scanner button and sellect the mail option and sellect the manual input and type the mail ID say ok and pres the program destination and give your name like this yopu can create maney accounts -thanks

Change a fax number that is saved

Operator tools.
System Settings.
Administrator tools
Managing the address book.
Choose the user that matches the fax nr. Open the tab fax and change the existing nr.
In the end just save and exit all the way to the copy window

How do I change a host name listed in my Savin 8035e scanner?

user tools> system settings> interface. Then find the tab to change the host name.

if you have Scan capability on this machine then yes you can
you have to create a user box and then scan to that user box and save it there. and you can print it out whenever you like
