Error i'm trying to install my newly purchased Photo Explosion Deluxe onto my computer but I keep getting the following error message: Runtime Error! Program: C:\Windows\system32\msiExec.exe Runtime Library Is it my computer? and what do I need to do?

    I have a brand new sony vaio . i bought my first program today, Photo explosion version 3. I went to install in and I get that same error .. runtime error . I called sony and they had no answers for me. I called nova and they were closed. I have windows vista. Can you please help?

    i keep getting R6034 C Runtime Library Error.I removed I Tunes thinking that was the problem,but it isn't,and now i can't even reload that as it keeps coming up with same error message

I have this same problem, I tried to install it on two different computers, a laptop and then a brand new desktop....It didn't work on either. I went to the website and did everything it says on Nova, then called them and they said it is a glitch in the software and there is no fix for it as of yet. Needless to say, I was pretty upset, I bought the program and I can't use it on either of my computers!

It looks like windows installer is corrupted
rename the file to use as a back (C:\windows\system32\msiexec.exe to msiexe.old.exe), download and reinstall this

How to correct a Load MPEG VIO Driver Error in Windows Vista.

If you are experiencing this issue with Windows Vista, please follow these directions:

Note: These steps are only for Windows Vista. If you are experiencing the problem on Windows XP, please see the directions found here: KB Article 1469

1. Uninstall Photo Explosion 3.0.
2. Reinstall Photo Explosion 3.0.
3. Restart the computer.
4. Download the Vista update for Photo Explosion 3.0 from the following link:

http://www.novadevelopment.com/Support/Updates.aspx

Note: Please make sure you download the correct one for your version of Photo Explosion 3.0. If you have the Deluxe version, download the Deluxe update. If you have the regular version, download the non-Deluxe update.
5. Save the update to an easily accessible location, such as your Desktop.
6. Once downloaded, go to where the update was saved and double-click the update.
7. After installing the update, you should no longer experience this problem.

Note: It is extremely important that you do not run Photo Explosion until you have restarted the computer and installed the update. If you run the program before installing the update, you will need to start the steps over from the beginning.

Microsoft Visual C + + Runtime Error
I just recently install Window 7 ultimate on my computer and then Acrobat 8 Pro start acting up. Try to open PDF file it will open for a little while then this thing pop up said Microsoft visual C++ Runtime Library and Runtime Error. Then it shut down.

How old is the laptop. From the error it appears it is meant to run on a 64 sys. Most sys are 32. Was your Desktop a 64 sys. If I am right, the prog will not run on the laptop

Microsoft visual c ++ runtime error PEX.exe
My problem was I had to many pictures in my C/ pictures folder. It couldn,t load before it timed out. I moved those pictures to my C/photo folder, worked great! no more problem. I have win xp home ed sp 2. The Lord Jesus help me after month of prayer and not finding any solution on the web, Last night the answer just popped in my head, I'm not smart on pc, so I know I had help.Thank Jesus if this helps you. its because of your os
most of all this software is working good in win xp so kindly try to install that software in windows xp because still windows vista is having some issues with some less popular softwares
so try it on windows xp or findout way to run it on windows vista (find windows vista version of your software)

You might try also
Download and install "Registry Mechanic" then do the updates prior to running it and removing anything for the first time. This will get rid of all your current Registry errors.
