How do I turn off my private browsing mode on my iPad?

Tap the "Safari" icon on the iPad's home screen to load the Safari browser. Swipe down on any Web page to display the address bar and navigation buttons. I can't open some apps i.e. Walgreens without turning off private browsing. How do I turn that off?

On an Mac or Laptop
Close the Private Browsing window, switch to a different Safari window that isn't using Private Browsing, or choose File > New Window to open a window that doesn't use Private Browsing.

On an iPhone or iPad

How do I close tabs on this phone

Dear Nancy,

Bring the Tabs to be closed on the screen,
Look on the upper left side, you will see the number of tabs opened inside a square.
With your index finger Tap on that little square with the number(s) inside it.
All of the opened tabs will move down leaving a black margin on the top of the screen.
You will see an X at in the the Right.
Keep on tapping on the X until you close all of the Tabs.
Notice that the number inside the square will be counting down every time you close a Tab.
After the last tab is closed, you will see a + sign inside a square on the Left of the screen.
You must Tap on that + square to open a new tab.

I try to look up apt/housing on Cincinnati craigslist it starts and then it shows pags can not be found

Close all Internet Explorer windows that are currently open.

1.Open the desktop, and then tap or click the Internet Explorer icon on the taskbar. Changing your settings will affect both Internet Explorer and Internet Explorer for the desktop.

Tap or click the Tools button Tools, and then tap or click Internet options.
Tap or Click the Advanced tab, and then tap or click Reset.

In the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box, tap or click Reset.

When Internet Explorer finishes applying default settings, tap or click Close, and then tap or click OK. You'll need to restart your PC for these changes to take effect.

Back to old home page

Open browser look for tools tab left click on tab highlight options and left click new tab will open tap on general settings in home page space type home page you want when browser opens tap OK close browser and reopen your new default home page should be there every time you open it.

Not sure about your question but are you talking about closing tabs in the browser on your android phone?

Open the browser and tap the "tabs" icon (top right).
You should then be able to scroll through all the open tabs and close the ones you don't want by tapping the X on the tab.

If I misunderstood your question, please provide more info as to what browser, OS or device are you using.

My Jura Capresso E 8 is stuck in open tap filling system. I open tap it says filling system, it says close tap, when I close the tap it goes back into open tap. Float valve looks fine, water is moving

Open the tap with frother spout off. This happened to mine and I took the frother tip off and opened tap with tip off. Water filled and I closed tap...Machine returned "Ready". I heated water in microwave for three minutes- placed frother tip in hot water and all kinds of gunk came out. Lesson learned- Do a thorough cleaning of frother by immersing it in very hot water at least once monthly- even if you don't use it

How to lock my pictures

Once you have jailbroken your iPhone. You'll got a Cydia icon on your SpringBoard.

Launch the Cydia.
Go to Search Tab and search for Lock Down and tap it.
Tap Install button at Top-Right and then Confirm button at Top-Right to begin installation.
After completion, go back to Springboard where you'll find a brand new icon i.e. LockDown.

How to use LockDown

When you will run the Lockdown application for the first time, you will be asked to setup a Safety Code and a Password. This password will be used to unlock any locked application and to open Lockdown itself. Safety code is useful in case you forget your LockDown password.
Once you have setup the Password and safety code, you will see all your iPhone applications listed on next screen.
Select any application you want to lock, a Lock button will appear. By tapping that button your selected application will be locked and a little lock icon will appear next to that locked application.
Now if you close LockDown App and try to open you locked application (Mail app in this example), you will be prompted to enter the password to open it. Use your Lockdown password to open that App.

(Once you open the app, use it and when you close the app it will be automatically locked again. So no need to re-lock it in LockDown.)

Lets check other options in Lock Down.

Tap LockDown to launch it. This time you'll be asked to input the password to open LockDown. Do it.
Tapping any locked application in LockDown will prompt you if you want to Unlock it. Pressing the Unlock button will perform the unlock that App.
Locked Applications button at the top right quickly shows all the locked application only rather scrolling through all applications to locate locked ones.
Under Settings tab at Bottom, following options are available:Locking Options
- Lock All Applications
- Unlock All Applications
- Lock This Application (ON/OFF)
Password Management
- Change Saftey Word
- Change Password
- Forgot Password
Other Settings
- Lockdown Dylib (If you turn it OFF, even if you open a locked application it will not prompt for password. So, it's helpful when you are using your iPhone by yourself. See the details in screenshot. )
- Lock Icon Moving (When turned ON it do NOT let anyone to move any icon to preserve your arrangement of icons.)
- Lock App Deletion (When turned ON it do NOT let anyone to delete any application without your permission.)
- Enable Launch Button (When turned ON, Lockdown will show a launch button when you open a locked application and input password.)

I am using this great application since the day it's supported with iPhone OS 3.0. It's working like a charm and will keep it installed because of its usefulness and surely recommend it.

I can't get past the 'open tap'/'close tap prompts on my Impressa

I had this problem with my Ena 3. The difference was that water was actually passing through the nozzle, but when I turned the dial back to the coffee symbol it would just tell me to open the tap again.

The solution was simple thanks to bergend's post, although I'd never have thought of it independently. I emptied the water tank and filled it back up with luke warm water instead of the cold water I had been using. After the first "system filling" round, the machine continued with the setup program fine.

So, to others with this problem: don't use too cold water in the tank for the first setup, even though the manual tells you to. Luke warm works great.

If you gind too fine, it will overload the pump and result in the "open tap" a few seconds into brew. Rinse and gind coarser to clear out malfunction.

There are two possible causes. One is easy the other is hard. So try the easy one first. Remove the grinds tray completely, and place you hand in the cavity that it normally takes up. moving you hand slowly in, feel towards the top. you will find a little flap, past that flap there is the tamper and coffee filter at a slight angle. This may be blocked, so clean with a cloth.
If that does not solve the problem (and 90% of the time it does) then you may have a small spec of dust that is stuck in the water system, this needs to be flushed and cleaned. The best place to do that is with a Jura approved center. Unless you are technically minded. Your local Jura chaps sound like they need a k!$k up their behind

Using a toothpick, I gently cleaned in the hole that the ground coffee lid latches into, and this completely solved this problem.
