I have a pentax optio s10,lost ma ual but can,t figure out how to transfer pics from camera memory to sd card in camera, HELP!!!

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa.
Organize edit and share your photos

You may view the manual at
Pentax Optio Optio S10 Operating Manual

"Copying files" begins on page 164.

Photo recovery 12/9

It sounds like the memory card got corrupted. If the memory card shows no files, there are no files. I'm sorry, but they're gone. Are you SURE the pictures aren't on your computer? Most cameras delete the pictures AFTER it copies them to your computer.

Accidentaly deleted photos on my memory card. My camera is Pentax E90

Take no more pics until you've recovered your photos, take the card out of the camera. This is to reduce the chance of you overwriting some of your "lost" photos. There are many good freeware photo recovery software options that may help you recover your photos. This article reviews and outlines several of the better ones:

The photos off my Optio S7 are not downloading onto my laptop. I have plugged in the cable from the camera to the laptop but nothing is happening.

My Pentax Optio S5z does not store images to SD

Copy your photos to the SD card in the camera. http://www.pentaximaging.com/files/manual/OptioS5z_web.pdf p. 136
Transfer all photos to your computer from your SD card, and then put the card back into your camera. Try looking through your manual to see if there are any other settings that are required in order to save photos to the memory card.
