I have a LXI series 13''tv,no manual-can't program channels

Good day!!

Example Situation:

If you can get the first thirteen channels, then that proves there are no broken wires or damaged equipment between PVN and your room. Your cable - all 67 channels - has already been activated before you even move into your room. So, if you are only getting channels 2-13, you definitely have a programming problem with your television. We understand that your TV probably worked great last year or at home, but you have to set it up from square one when you move in to Penn again. Many times when you unplug a cable-ready TV, the memory settings are lost, and you have to start over. Therefore, you will need to program your set from the beginning.

If that situation happened to your TV please re-program your set.

Turn the unit off, push the setup button 3 times. Press the seek left/right to switch between cable / antenna tuner modes. When cable is selected, press the channel up/down to switch between cable modes. When the unit turns back on, it will rescan for channels.

Go into the menu on your tv via built in button on the tv, or the remote. Look for something that reads "Program Mode" or "Program Channels"

Tv's have to search for channels that have a good solid frequency if they are just hooked up. newer tvs do it automatically

For anyone with a set with this problem that is older----IT DOES NOT HAVE THAT PART OF THE CABLE BAND BUILT INTO IT--only solution is either to put a cable box to it or buy a new set.

The only way to fix the problem is to hook your TV to a standard cable hookup and go through the "auto memo" scan process. The auto scan progarm then automatically sets itself to the CATV mode, rather than the standard mode, so channels above 13 can be received after disconnecting and reconnecting to a DirectTV, satellite antenna.

get your remote, go to the TV menu and look for channel search or program, let the TV detect all channels.

you will have to do this if you unplug it or if the power goes out

I have a 52' LXI that was given to me, I am having trouble programming the channels with a cable output. The TV starts at Channel 7 but those channels before it does not come in with my cable output or ANT out put. How do I get those channels to come in
