If it was built for 60Hz AC power (American), it will not work on 50Hz power. The Hz, is the number of cycles per second, the electricity makes. If your motor & controls are wired for 60cycles, they will not get the proper electrical supple to work on 50 cycles. AC voltage goes from neutral to positive to neutral to negative to neutral, (one cycle) according to the country you are in. Some countries also use 230 or 240 volts, instead of 120 volts.

What is the frequency of Briggs and Stratton portable generator 30552-00 and if it is 60 hz and I wanna change it into 50 hz, Is it possible and how?

It be better to obtain an unit that already design for your area as it will the appropriate electrical outlets.

As for the 30552-00 would be 60 Hz with running at a governed speed of 3600 (3750 unloaded).

Being a two pole generator frequency is determined by dividing engine as follows. 3600 / 60=60. Engine is RPM is in minutes and must converted to seconds. For 50Hz operation the engine speed must be reduce to 3000 rpm (50hz * 60seconds = 3000 rpm)

What is the wattage of Kenmore 385.15202 sewing

The wattge used should be listed on the machine or it's wiring. If not, you should go to ( sears.com ) and find support. I do not see a problem using an outlet there from a public power as long as you have set the unit to use the correct cycles which is normally 50Hz or 60Hz. Some electronic devices such as yours will operate on either, but you will normally have a switch to manually set which Hz setting you need. The power you recieve from the utility will be either 50Hz or 60 Hz and you will have to set the unit to match the utilities rating. Best Wishes.

HOW TO SWITCH 6260 TO 60HZ

6260 isn't a model number for any Ingersoll Rand generator.

Generally, though, if you have a generator that generates 50Hz and you want it to produce 60Hz instead, you adjust the governor to increase engine running speed by 20%... if the engine will tolerate that speed. The first thing you need to do is find out what speed the engine runs when it's under normal load. If that speed can't safely be increased 20%, then the generator head has been built strictly for 50Hz and there's nothing you can do about it except run a UPS between the generator and your load.

If the engine speed IS low enough to safely increase by 20%, then that's what you do.

Is it possible to convert a 60 Hz dish washer to work on 50 Hz, and how.

hello, so long as you have it wired to a 110v outlet 50-60 hertz is not going to be a problem and you don't need convert it. If however you are hooking it up to a higher voltage, you will need a step down transformer. If you have any questions please feel free to comment again. Mike

Kenmore washer won't go to final spin

The motor won't like the 50 Hz power because it was designed for 60 Hz. The same goes for any transformer that powers the electronics. Changing the motor and transformer for local parts might solve the problem, but likely to be quite costly. It might be better to pick up a machine made for this market. If you can find and use a 60Hz generator, you could see if that fixes your problem. Good luck!

Kenmore elite dishwasher leaves food particles on dishes

If someone is putting dishes in the washer and obstructing the spray ams that would cause food to stay on dishes. After loading dishwasher and pushing in baskets make sure the spray arm doesnt hit any of the dishes causing them to not clean properly. If that doesnt work or is definately not your problem try removing the spray arm and seeing if it has food inside of it. Some times they get food build up in them and need to be flushed out.
