New phillips plazma hdmi locked? i finally bought an hdmi cable to hook up my playstation 3. i switch the video to hdmi and its states "this channel is locked, to unlock this channel, please enter your pin". I bought this tv as a floor model when circuit city went out of business. it came with the tv and a remote. no box,no maual, and definately no unlock code. can someone help me out

its a ps4 so it comes with a hdmi cable. Place the hdmi cable into the back of the ps4 and put the other end into a hdmi input
on the TV . Don't know the TV but usually there are a number of HDMI input ports on most modern tv's.
Then switch tv source to HDMI .

you will have to plug the usb cable into the controller and into the front of the PS4 and then charge the controller by pressing the power button on ps4. The controller has to be paired to the ps4. The manual that came with the ps4 should go into it in more detail.
need the model number to assist but it sounds like a main board issue if you have one of the panasonic plasma models that have the inputs all on the main board. You can get main boards for most models at www.tvrepairworld.com

Newer, flat-panel Philips TVs include standard AV inputs and
high-resolution inputs. To get the best video quality
out of your PS3, using an HDMI connection is recommended if the option
is available. The PS3 does not include an HDMI cable, only a standard AV

Connect the flat end of the PS3 AV cable into the "AV Multi Out" port on the back of the PS3.

Connect the "red," "white" and "yellow" prongs on the
opposite end of the PS3 AV cable into the corresponding "red," "white"
and "yellow" AV inputs on the TV (usually located on the side or in the
back).

Press the "Source" button on the Philips TV remote.

Select the "AV" video display mode.

Turn on the PS3. The PS3 logo will appear on the screen.
if your using the hdmi input you need to make sure you have an
hdmi capable input source on the other end
if you are using an hdmi to dvi cable make sure you have alternate analog cables hooked up to something that will amplify them or go back to dvi to dvi and rca audio cables
make sure the speakers are turned on in the menu
