When I push the menu button, it says it is locked. How do i unlock it?

To un-lock the OSD press and hold the MENU button while the monitor is off and then press power button to turn the monitor on

Try this, press Vol- and Vol+ buttons at the same time to unlock osd menu and do the same to lock it.

Osd locked on screen Fujitsu Siemens

holding down the select/menu button and pushing the power button and keep holding the select button down until the menu appears and hey presto, one unlocked osd!
Repeat the process to lock it again.

How to get rid of osd lock which appears frequently on screen?

Hold the MENU button for ten seconds to unlock or lock the OSD.

Every time I press the button to open it it is locked

This feature is provided in order to avoid accidental key activation during recording or playback.

1. Press and hold MENU for three
seconds, LOCKED will flashes on display. (LOCK icon will be shown)
2. Press and hold MENU for three seconds again to unlock keys.

Power button locked, to unlock...

You may wish to try this (my model AOC g2016wa2)
1. push MENU button
2. scroll to Advanced
3. push MENU button
4. scroll to Factory recall
5. push MENU button
It resets the power button locked setting but you lose all other settings.

OSD lock icon will not go off

accoreding to the dell support website, it says to do this
FROM DELL:
NOTE: You can also lock or unlock the OSD by pushing and holding the Menu button for 15 seconds. In this mode All buttons will be locked including the "Menu" button. You can unlock by pushing and holding the Menu button for 15 seconds.
