There are a number of things that cause this!! Is the arm in the up or down position.It must be down!! Up position stops the ice making.The next thing is making sure you have water to the units ice maker.Or if the unit has ice in the tray and it won't dump.You may have to replace the ice maker.

We have a Jenn-Air Refrigerator/Freezer (Model #JRSD226) and the ice maker has stopped working.

Check for blockage in the water line in the freezer. If so, defrost it. Might need a new water valve. Maybe a bad ice maker too.
Another possibility is that it's not cold enough in the freezer. Should be below +10F.

I have a Jenn-Air Refig with the freezer on the bottom. The ICE maker is not working and I think it might be frozen. How do I disconnect the ice maker so i can thaw it out?

Why not do a quick thaw and move the frozen goods over to the firdge for a few minutes and grab a blow dryer. This should give a temporary fix until you can pin point the problem. Be kind to me please with a Thumbs up. I am a long ways away and can only help a little. Raz

This one you have to take out the ice maker and run hot water from the kitchen sink into the tray to get the ice out. need model number if you want detail explaination how to. or just use a hair dryer that will work to!!! if fingers dont rotate after defrost ice then the gears are stripped, replace ice maker

Blades in my Jenn Air ice maker are not turning, ice maker no longer producing ice. Model JTB1988AE.

There may be some ice buld up blocking the lever from turning. A blow drymay be a quick fix. I can't see in there so just guessing. Please leave a good thumbs up for the effort. The Raz Shack

Our 12 yr. old jenn air refridgerator freezer ice maker has not shut off twice and ran all over our kitchen floors. What can be done?

The fridge is no longer making ice

Try swapping the wires on the dual water inlet valve. Then try the water dispenser. The water should go to the ice maker. This will tell you weather or not the ice maker valve is working and if the line is clear.
OR
The water inlet valve on the back of unit opens when the ice maker needs water. If the valve doesn't seal good because of sediment or wear it will continue to drip and when the water reaches the ice maker supply tube it will freeze. You can take the water line off the valve and watch to see if it drips.

The water inlet valve may be staying open. You can swap the wires on the dual water inlet valve and disconnect the water line at the valve which goes to the ice maker. When you try the water dispenser the water will come out there. When you stop the water dispenser, if the water at the valve doesn't stop, the valve isn't closing so you'll need to replace it. If it does stop after trying it several times then the problem is with the ice maker.

The water inlet valve on the back of unit opens when the ice maker needs water. If the valve doesn't seal good because of sediment or wear it will continue to drip and when the water reaches the ice maker supply tube it will freeze. You can take the water line off the valve and watch to see if it drips.
