The issue of touc screen freezing in he M880 is mostly due to fault in the contact. The screen contact is just below the volumen control buttons on the right. I inserted a fingre nain where the volume control is and pulled up the screena wee bit. near the volume up botton, I then inserted the tip of a tooth pick. It worked and the touch sensitivity is just as new :)

M8800 touch screen frozen

First you need to take out the battery and insert it back on, then you power it on, it should work, after that, you need to calibrate the screen once it is working properly, if not, it will freeze again.
To calibrate the screen, you need to go to the phones menu>settings>calibrate> Then you touch the center of the star that comes up on the screen, after doing it perfectly, the screen will work perfectly fine once again.
There are 2 causes of the screen freezing. 1 is if you have too many large files on your phone, and 2 if the sensor board of the screen is weak, calibrating the screen will solve the second problem or replacing the sensor board if calibrating the screen does not solve the problem.
For the first problem, what you have to do is to assess the files on your phone, if they are too large, the phone will continue to hang because it will be taking longer time to process the file opening. Try to move the large files to your computer or laptop, if not, it might cause further problems to your phone.
That should solve the problem for you.

My samsung pixon keeps freezing. I can turn it on

This is courtesy of Helifix from Handcellphone.com...

Hello Guys. I have the same problem and I found out the solution. The problem is a faulty contact from the touchscreen leading to the phone board. To be short: on the right side of the phone were the volume buttons are, under the touchscreen is the screen's contact. Try "detaching the screens face a little from the phone body exactly at the volume down button(using ur fingernail or something) and see if the touchscreen is responding in anyway. My phone has a bad contact there, and in normal mode all is frozen. Now if I try to pull towards me, the touchscreen frame from the rest of the chassis, only a mm SURPRISE!! My touchscreen is working. IF this is your case too...I suggest get a screw-driver and open the chassis, and trying to make the connection permanent, somehow. I haven't done this yet, but will do it today. If anyone is interested I could post the results:) PS: you can send it back to warranty of a repair phone shop, only to force you to buy a new touchscreen and pay for the repairs, on a 99% working phone, with a faulty contact. The choice is yours:)

Samsun pixon touchscreen appears frozen

it's a problem with the connection between the touchscreen and phone. the m880 is notorious for it. there's a few quick fixes but they don't last long. take it in to get fixed or buy a different phone, mine is six months old, same problem.
