My Hitachi 61SDX01B 61" is now too dark and doesn't seem to have depth in the picture anymore. I turn up the brightness and contrast to 100 just to try and make it better. But it just doesn't seem to help that much. The color also seems to be off now. I notice when I use the Magic Focus that the blue seems clear and fine. But the red and green have a glow around them and are unclear. It also doesn't seem to finish the entire magic focus process anymore and when it stop... there is a green 10 on the bottom right of the screen before the actual picture comes back on. I would like to know what might be causing this and if this is something I could fix myself. If I need to replace something or have a tech come out, is this something that would be too expensive to even mess with? Thanks!
There isn't anything you can do yourself for this problem, but it should be worth having a qualified technician look at it.
