I would like to download some pictures from my motorola cell phone to the PC, but I don't have email access for my cell phone. How can I achieve it? Thank you.

What I did to get pictures from my cell to my PC was send them from my phone to my yahoo email account (you don't need to get on the web browser on your cell for this.) So, to send it from your cell, go to the picture you want, hit the round menu button, go to "send in message" and send it to your email. After that, download it from the email, open it with paint, and save as .jpg. That should work :)

Unable to connect

Probably not configured for web access and multimedia messaging... refer to the network provider for programming update if you want these services.

Cant send web pages

Hi!

It won't allow you to send webpages as attachments, if you want to send the pages either paste the link so, that your friend can access that page.
Else, copy the content of the link and paste it in the message area and in this way it you can send the data you want to.

Please rate the solution.

Thanks

Cant send photos

Text messages are for text only. Pictures must be sent using Multimedia Message (MMS).

Pic message

Hi, the first you need to do is call them and ask them to make sure that you are connected to the APN's or access point on thier network.

Then they will have a tool that allows you to send and recieve MMS or picture messages.

Picture messages send via a data network which is separate from what you use for making calls.

If this is disable on your account with your provider it will stop you from sending and recieveing PXT messages.

Picture messages

There will be a seperate folder for picture messages. Once in the folder you should be able to use as needed. You can click specific messages and download it, once downloaded you should be able to view them as needed. If it doesn't give you the option to download, it's probably already trying to. Make sure it is connecting to the internet properly. Try going to any web address under explorer to make sure it connects, then return to messages to update.

The easiest way to send is to go to the picture, and click options and send from there. It's a little more time consuming to go to the send menu, and then select the picture.

Samsung U600- WAP and MMS settings for T-Mobile

I have had a similar problem when I first got my unlocked phone. I have T-mobile as well, and once they find out you have a phone device not purchased by them, they are not very helpful - they will give you their default mms settings(same ones listed on their site). I tried those settings and they did not work on the particular unlocked phone I had. I did some extensive web searching and came across a few settings that worked with my phone. I will list them here. Hope they work for you!

*MMS Settings: Home URL - http://216.155.174.84/servlets/mms
*Protocol Type - WAP
*WAP IP Address - 216.155.165.50
*GPRS Access Point - wap.voicestream.com
*GPRS Username - Leave Blank
*GPRS Password - Leave Blank
*Authentication Type - normal

*T Zones - http://wap.myvoicestream.com
