I have a GE 21518 Cell Fusion not working w/ the home phones.

I have a GE 21518 Cell Fusion. It's linked up and works with the bluetooth cell phones. However when a call comes in you can't hear or be heard through the home phone phones. Also, you can make calls out on the handsets but when the called party answers they can only hear and be heard on the cell phones, not on the home handsets.

SOURCE: I have a GE 21518 Bluetooth Telephone adapter. If

First off what company do you use for your home phone and who do you use for your cell phone. I don't believe that you should be seeing caller ID on your tv from your cell phone. That is not what the bluetooth does.
Thank you,
Lee

Caller ID is only sent to devices plugged directly into the "PHONE" jack on the back of the 21518. I'm guessing your TV DVR or Cable Box is connected directly to the real phone line. Maybe you need an RJ-11 splitter so you can plug both your phone AND the cable box in to the "PHONE" output of the 21518. I appologize if you've already tried this.

Phone won't dial out

I have a GE 6.0 cell fusion phone, Model# 28128. It doesn't give a dial tone. So we cannot make or hear any calls. The incoming calls go to voicemail. I used to power off and on to solve this problem, but that temporary idea does not work. Please help.
Any ideas?

Ge Cell Fusion Bluetooth Connection will not stay connected

I have the same problem. I dont understand what the 'auto connect' feature as you would think it would re-pair with the cell once the bluetooth is disconnected, right?

Model 21518 GE Bluetooth Telephone Adaptor

I see the same thing and it appears that this is the way it works. Without the landline you will get the beeps but can still make and recv calls. After the beeps, dial #1#phone-number#, and it will call that number. Guess that is what they mean when say works without landline.

CAN RECIEVE CALLS CAN NOT DIAL OUT HAVE ONE OF THOSE CORDLESS PHONES ONE MAIN BASE AND TWO SUBSTATIONS AND NO PHONE SERVICE INTO THE HOUSE GE 21518EE1 Bluetooth Cell Fusion Gateway

You have to dial #1#PHONENUMBER# if you have your cell paired to the 1st line or #2# if you have it paired to the 2nd one to call out on these boxes. I have a problem receiving calls with the bluetooth cycling and dropping the call, no problems dialing out though.

GE 21518 Celluar Gateway won't allow use of touch tone menus.

This is the "nature of the beast" with this unit. I have found the same issue. It seems to vary based on which cell phone you use it with. The Moto Droid I had briefly seemed to allow the DTMF tones to work pretty well. Otherwise, this is a great product. You'll just have to grab the actual phone to enter the tones. :(

There is an undocumented solution to link difficult devices. Instead of pushing ad releasing, hold either button down until you get a FAST BLINK and then try linking again.
