Loading music from the computer

Music can only be added through iTunes. Open iTunes and click on the device icon. Drag music that is loaded in iTunes music library onto the device. If you haven't loaded music into iTunes, you have to do that first.

you can download the itunes software for free on the the apple website go to www.apple.com/downloads and then you will be able to use itunes to load all the music into the ipod

how did you rip your music. you have to use Itunes.
down load itunes from apple.com
go to import music from folder and go to my music folder and bingo all your music will be in a language that your ipod will read.

Hi! Congrats for your ipod nano. Use latest version of iTunes available on http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/. Install it and then connect your ipod with the pc. Hope this solves your concern.

you must use itunes to transfer music etc transfering mp3 direct to ipod will not work download itunes from here http://www.apple.com/itunes/ free to use and will collect your music for you on your computer and sort it out for your ipod... updates for your ipod are also handled by itunes

you have to load music with itunes it is the only way

1 download and open itunes
2 click on file and the add file/folder to libary
3 locate ur music and click open
4 plug ur ipod into ur pc
5 drag music from libary onto your ipod

load it onto your computer music files/media player and use your media player to load them onto your nano

Yes, he can but it would have to be done manually, meaning outside of the iTunes application. When the iPod is connected to a computer, it will show up on the desktop of a Mac as another disk drive.
